My name is Luke Hasaart, and I'm a landscape photographer based in Jindabyne; the heart of the Snowy Mountains, NSW. My love for the mountains began in my early teens when I travelled and competed as a mogul skier. Experiencing the vast beauty of mountain ranges around the world sparked a lasting desire to capture and conquer their majesty—something I later found through photography.
I picked up my first camera in 2017, and my passion for photography has only deepened since. I spend most of my time exploring and photographing the untamed terrain of Kosciuszko National Park, located on Ngarigo land. Despite its proximity to my home, I feel like I've only just begun to uncover its endless beauty.
For me, photography is an extension of my love for adventure. The journey to each location, the solitude of being out in nature, and the moments of discovery are just as rewarding as the shot itself. Through my images, I aim to share not only the landscapes but also the thoughts and emotions I experience as I witness nature’s beauty unfold before me.
